El calentamiento global ha causado daños irremediables (Traducido en españo)

Abstract: It's Too Late

Global warming has caused irreparable damage to our environment. Almost all scientist agree that IN FACT global warming is a problem.

Humans have caused the destruction of the Earth's environment. Our planet has become unfit for human life. Now the question is can we adapt in time?

Sample Of Scientists' Quotes

We are not saying that the Earth's temperature is just going to rise. In general, as energy is added to a system, the fluctuations in the system increase. So, we expect more storms, more droughts, more wildfires, more floods, more fluctuations of all kinds. What we are saying is that weather conditions will become more volatile due to the impact of humans. (Extreme Weather Events)

"Coral cover will decrease to less than 5 percent on most reefs by the middle of the century, under even the most favorable assumptions."

"There is little to no evidence that corals can adapt fast enough to match even the lower projected temperature rise."

"If you want to change people's behaviour, you need time. The question I now ask myself is, do we have enough time?"

"Turn out the lights... the fossil fuel party's over."

"This is the next step in the UN.s increasingly reactive response to climate change. First the focus was on avoiding emissions. When mitigation efforts proved inadequate, it turned more attention to adaptation. Now, as the effects of extreme weather and rising oceans hit communities from the Philippines to New Jersey, the UN has realized it must begin to grapple with the damaging effects of climate change it had been mostly trying to avoid," said International Climate Program Director Jennifer Haverkamp.
