including our Heart Station and Cardiac Rehabilitation.
Heart Station
The Heart Station at North Penn Hospital provides inpatients and outpatients the following:
- General Stress Lab
- Echo Eab (2D, M-Mode, Doppler and color flow mapping)
- Transesophageal Echocardiography
- Nuclear Medicine Stress Lab
- Thallium Stress Testing
- Persantine (dipryridamole) Thallium Stress Testing
- Dobutamine Thallium Stress Testing
- * EKG's, Holter Monitoring and Scanning

Cardiac Rehabilitation
North Penn Hospital is committed to the prevention and treatment of heart disease. Through our Cardiac Rehabilitation Department, we offer Phase 1 (inpatient), and Phase 2 and 3 (outpatient) rehabilitation.
Patients are encouraged to participate in our Risk Profile Management (RPM) prevention program, which requires a physician referral.
Our heart disease support group, Kardiac Kids, meets the third Thursday of each month in the hospital's classroom facilities.
