Estes Park

After recovering from the rigors of the I-70 cruise for 2 nights at Greeley we set off for Estes Park. Fifteen minutes into the trip we discover Nemesis still hanging on... brake lights are out on Alex's car...

Car goes to dealer. Onward 'n sideways

Make Estes Park driving up the Big Thompson canyon. Cellfone dies for the duration of the camping session. Signs proclaim 'Climb to safety in case of flood'. These seem to be a futile gesture against Natural Selection.

Estes Park is fulla yuppies, more crowded than last October. Camp in another KOA Kampground. Same number of K's as b4, but i shall not let my guard down.

Take off for a nearby campground at Marys's Lake. Walk around the lake. Putter about. Get rained on for a bit. Discover lack of raingear. Alex comes thru with a poncho, which i promptly destroy and repair with duct tape. Quite Fashionable. Don't leave home without duct tape.

Also discover that i have a pair of blisters on my heels. This is not so good. Apparently had em b4 i left Columbus. Will treat with Neosporin, every nite for the duration.

Mary's Lake for a coupla nights. Alex has to take off deal with car. Tearful farewells. TylMjk n i head on to the next stop. Read all about it
