The closing track is a new cut from Twisted Sister, their first new recording in over a decade, and it possesses the same anthemic punch that made Dee Snider and company arena favorites in the ’80s. The most interesting songs are Dayinthelife’s cover of the Sister classic "Street Justice" and an equally diverse cover of "Captain Howdy" by Crisis.
From straight-forward metal, to industrial, rap and thrash, Strangeland contains a wide variety of today’s heavier bands, and is sure to not only please fans of either genre, but to provide a bit of cross-over exposure as well. While I haven’t caught the flick, the soundtrack is more than enough to spark my interest!
