To keep a file reasonable in terms of
download time, it helps to convert the file to a jpeg (.jpg).
In fact, most viewers can not see .bmp files. The main graphic on
this page has already been converted to a jpeg (as a bmp it was
147,750 bytes ... as a jpg it is only 6,335 bytes) using a program
called LView. The program is shareware. If you

can download the LView "zip" file. LView has an edit feature called
crop!
By cropping the picture, the download time
can be reduced to a minimum. The final graphic is 4,069 bytes.
