Objectives of the Courses are to educate and familiarize
operating room personnel with instruments and implants used
in the operative care of fractures, to include the following:
1. Aims and Principles of AO ASIF Techniques
1. Acetabular/Pelvic Ring Disruptions
These topics will be presented through a dynamic combination
of lectures, hands-on practical sessions and demonstrations. Participants will take an active role in the fixation of artificial bone fractures under the direction of lab instructors.
These Operating Room Personnel Courses are educational non-profit functions made possible through the support of and cooperation with the AO ASIF.
AO North America Foundation is accredited as a provider of continuing education in nursing by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
This recognition does not imply that the AO North America Foundation or the ANCC Commission on Accreditation approves or endorses any product included in the activity.
Both Course have been awarded 16.5 Contact Hours.
Tuition for each course is $250.
