This Course will focus on the application of advanced technologies in the complex treatment of maxillofacial trauma and reconstruction according to AO ASIF principles and techniques. Complications and perioperative considerations will be addressed. This will be accomplished through lectures given by a distinguished Faculty with specific expertise in various aspects of maxillofacial surgery. Practical exercises on artificial bones will be included.
This Course is designed for those familiar with the theory and practice of stable fixation.
Previous attendance at a Maxillofacial principles and techniques course is recommended.

The AO North America is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to sponsor continuing medical education for physicians.
The AO North America designates this continuing medical education activity for a maximum of 11 credit hours in Category 1 of the Physician's Recognition Award of the American Medical Association. Each physician should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.
