Paul R. Schmeck
Areas of expertise include architectural design, specification writing, conceptual site planning, feasibility studies, contract administration, heavy/highway construction, pavement and bridge surfaces, construction inspection. Mr. Schmeck has also performed forensic investigations and litigation support services for Associated Construction Technologies, Inc., while working as a Project Manager for the Thompson Partnership Architects. He has also worked as a Project Architect for the award winning firm, Kitchen & Associates, where he specialized in the production of working drawings and specifications.
Mr. Schmeck graduated from Drexel University with honors as a Bachelor of Science in Architecture. His drawings were chosen for school accreditation. Mr. Schmeck's inherent artistic talent, combined with his training in architecture, hands on knowledge of projects ranging in size from historic renovations to large scale heavy/highway projects, make Mr. Schmeck an asset for conceptual design and practical application.
During his internship, Mr. Schmeck worked as a Field Engineer for SITE-Blauvelt Engineers where he had hands on experience with commercial, and heavy/highway construction. There he acquired a thorough knowledge of shallow and drilled pier foundations, subsoil investigation, soil compaction/backfill, concrete, masonry, structural steel, and roof installation. Additionally, he is experienced in pavement reconstruction, bridge deck replacements, bridge substructure reconstruction, drainage relocations, and as-built drawing preparation.
Mr. Schmeck has worked on projects for clients such as: Frankford Hospital, Ahheuser-Busch Recycling, Brittany Point Estates, PADOT, NJDOT, and the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission.
